1. Purpose
This policy outlines conditions for account restrictions. Skilz reserves the right to freeze, suspend, or terminate any account at its sole discretion to maintain platform integrity and user safety.
2. Restriction Types
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Frozen | Time-limited. Can access app, wallet, pay balances — cannot create or accept bookings. |
| Suspended | Account fully disabled until Skilz completes review. |
| Terminated | Account permanently closed. No return unless explicitly approved. |
3. Grounds for Action
Accounts may be restricted for:
- Failure to settle negative balances within 5 days
- Fee evasion through off-platform payments
- Exceeding cancellation limits or excessive no-shows
- Fake or altered identity documents
- Fake or misleading professional certifications
- Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior
- Creating fake accounts or manipulating reviews
- Offering illegal or disallowed services
- Repeatedly poor ratings below minimum threshold
4. Fake Credentials
Skilz takes identity integrity seriously. Fake IDs, forged documents, expired licenses presented as valid, or claiming qualifications without credentials may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination, and may be reported to authorities.
5. Low Rating Auto-Suspension
Providers whose 30-day rolling average drops below the minimum threshold receive a 30-day grace period to improve. If still below after the grace period, the account is automatically frozen.
6. Appeals
Users may appeal a suspension within 7 days. Skilz may request additional documents before making a final determination.
7. Financial Implications
- Negative balances must still be repaid
- Withdrawals are restricted during suspension
- Ongoing disputes may delay payouts
- Active bookings may be automatically canceled
