SKILZ

Refund & Dispute Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Platform Role

Skilz acts solely as a marketplace and facilitator. Skilz does not provide, guarantee, or control services offered by providers. All agreements are between client and provider.

2. Payment Release

Funds are credited to the provider's wallet after the client confirms completion. If not confirmed within 48 hours after the scheduled service, the system auto-completes the booking and charges applicable fees.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered when:

  • The provider did not show up or failed to render service
  • The service was significantly different from what was agreed
  • The provider acted in a dangerous, fraudulent, or illegal manner
  • The provider failed to deliver on promised deliverables
  • Payment was charged but service wasn't delivered

4. Cash vs Wallet Payments

Wallet payments: refund means returning credits to the client's wallet (minus fees already deducted). Cash payments: Skilz cannot reverse cash — refunds must be managed between client and provider.

5. Dispute Process

  • Submit dispute within 48 hours after service completion
  • Provide evidence: photos, messages, timestamps
  • Provider is notified and has a chance to respond
  • If mutually agreed, refund or compensation is arranged
  • If disagreement persists, Skilz may mediate

6. Fee Handling

Transaction fees already collected remain with Skilz (non-refundable) unless explicitly waived under rare circumstances such as system errors.

7. No Guarantee

Clients use Skilz services at their own risk. Skilz does not guarantee delivery, quality, outcome, or satisfaction.
